Plan the connection, not just the access point.

We review the area you want covered, the existing network and practical equipment locations. Buildings, landscaping and distance all affect the design.

  • Outdoor-suitable equipment and mounting locations.
  • Cabling routes, power requirements and connections back to the network.
  • Guest access and separation from other devices where needed.
  • Performance checks in the agreed coverage areas.

Cabling, mounting and any coordination with other trades are identified in the project scope. We do not promise blanket coverage across a property without reviewing it.

Include Wi-Fi before the landscaping is finished.

For new builds and renovations, planning network routes early can help avoid disruptive work later. We can provide a design for your team or discuss installation and commissioning.

Common questions

Can an indoor router cover the whole yard?

It depends on the layout and conditions. We assess the existing coverage before deciding whether repositioning equipment or adding an outdoor access point is appropriate.

Do I need a new internet plan?

Not necessarily. We review the existing connection and the network delivering it outdoors. 914 WiFi provides networking services, not internet plans.

What does it cost?

Outdoor installations are quoted for the property, equipment, cabling and work required. The free assessment covers review and recommendations, with paid work agreed separately.
